Jackson and Wallace Families

Like Sally said in her stories, and as I have brought to you in a blog titled "... Sally Remembers", it is hard to tell where the Jackson and Wallace lines begin, since both of these are my family lines. I have a stack of researched material on the Wallaces and also on the Jacksons, but find myself shifting some papers back and forth from one to the other. My great-parents have a lot ... a LOT of history. The Wallaces have come from Union Co., Kentucky. They settled in an area later referred to as the Kentucky Settlement when so many of them and their neighbors moved into that area. And the Jackson's from around this area married into the Wallace clan. On this blog I will have a mixture of Wallace and Jackson, stories, census records, and other researched material of which I have found through my other relatives, online, or handed down to me through stories that I have heard.
